There’s no reason to panic, part 9

I’ll let this conclude the little malware-arc. Who said anticlimactic? Shuddup Isaac!

Today, I’m going back to school, and more precisely to the School of Engineering at Jönköping University (ugh, gulp. Wish me luck). This probably means a change in… everything. More on this later this week.

Oh, and for those who pays attention, and still wonders who the one who cut the light was: It was me all along, I broke the fuse box. Darkness is much more moody.

EDIT: Yeah, I’ve totally forgotten to make that post. I’m sorry, school is occupying my thoughts. Needless to say there’ll be no new strip this Friday. More info this weekend. Pinky swear.

Heads up

July 26th, 2009

Just a little heads up, Monday’s strip might be a tad late. I’ll color it entierly in the morning, so expect it around 1-2 in the afternoon, Swedish time.  So most of you probably won’t notice it, so making this post might be redundant. But I’m doing it just in case. Also, I might just ustream. Probably not though, cause it’s such a big a file. But it might be worth checking out my ustream channel in the morning just in case.

Shameless plug

July 24th, 2009

Hey-oh, you know what time it is? It’s time for me to throw out a shameless plug or two. Because I can. Yes yes.

First of, my Swedish colleague Robin Larsson recently launched his new webcomic Zero Days. He’s a really nice, talent guy, go check it out and give him some love. He’s only got 4 pages up so far, so it’s easy to dive in. If you like post-apocalyptic… stuff… you’ll probably like Zero Days. And who DOESN’T like post-apocalyptic… stuff?

Zero Days

And for all my Swedish readers: my older brother – also recently – launched a site called “Skriv en bok” (It’s in a kinda Beta-stage now though). As the title suggests, it’s about writing. The basic idea is that someone, anyone, writes a chapter of a story, and then some other one, anyone, are free to continue with that story. Head over and check it out if you want to write something short. The end result might get really, really interesting. It’s only in Swedish atm though, like I said.

And… that concludes this week’s shameless plugs!

/Rasmus (I’ve never signed a post before… wtf am i doin? Dunno. It felt fitting).

Fix’d!

June 3rd, 2009

CHKDSK saves the day, once again.

I canceled the ongoing CHKDSK/r process after going strong for AT LEAST 60 hours, and thought I’d try CHKDSK/f (before I got out my Linux LiveCD and tried saving as much as I could).

CHKDSK/f fixed everything.

And it didn’t even take an hour.

So I’ve wasted so incredibly must time and effort, just because I typed /r instead of /f. Goddammit. Well… guess it’s good, but it’s annoying. I’ve bought a new 500GB external hard drive, and I’ll be sure to back up everything to that one from now on.

Anyway, thanks for all the helpful and well wishing comments! 🙂 See you guys Friday.
