No update today (AGAINWTFBBQ?!)

Friday, January 23rd, 2009

Woops! No strip this Friday. Again. Sorry =/ I “lost” my buffer of strips when the computer crashed, and getting the computer back on track has taken some time. I started doing a strip for today though, I really did, but then Painter crashed (of course) on me, and I lost that too. Seems like my equipment kinda sucks, right? Yeah…

I’ll be back on Monday, with a new strip, and hopefully a new start on my buffer of strips.

To make up for this, I give you art. A girl I drew earlier this week:

She’s crying over the lost strip. Don’t be like her.

Opera 10 Alpha available

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

If you, like me, like to try out browser in the early stages, or if you’re just a fan of Opera – this might interest you. The alpha release of Opera 10 is available for download (and has been for some time). Head over and download it, and try it out. I’ve tried it briefly, and I like what I’ve seen so far. For only being alpha, it’s awesome.

No update today

Monday, December 29th, 2008

So yeah, no strip this Monday. The xmas/new year card is the last thing you get this year (don’t worry, this coming Friday is “next year” – you’ll get a new fresh 09-strip then). It’s fitting to end the year with this, but I’m mostly doing it because I’ve entered a massive writer’s block AND artistically block today (yesterday). I do that quite often, but not both at the same time.

I even tried to draw a strip about me TRYING to draw I strip. I couldn’t do it. I drew half a panel, before giving up.

Then I read Penny Arcade instead.

If you feel like you’re missing out on something today, because of this, try this:

1. Stare at the screen for half a minute.
2. Pretend you’re reading a new strip.
3. Pretend it’s the funniest one yet.
4. Laugh accordingly.

Yeah, ok. That might not be as fun, but it’s the best thing I have to offer… ^^’

I’ll update the cast section with Houston’s picture today; I’ve changed Leslies and Isaacs already though.

So, have a great new years eve, drink responsibly and above all – have fun. I’ll see you Friday.

This is Christmas

Thursday, December 25th, 2008

We celebrate Christmas on the 24th in Sweden. Christmas ewe’s what it’s all about, the Christmas day (today), is nothing special. Regardless, I hope you’re all enjoying yourselves, and are having a great time with friends and family and so forth and so forth.

I thought I’d share my gift to my sister, seeing as it’s much related. You might like it:

It’s an inked original of Houston hugging Leslie (and vice versa), took some time to make, and I was rather pleased with my line quality in this one. I’ve said it before, but: good line art means everything to me.

I hope she likes it, and I hope you guys do to.

Guest strip project

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008

I was asked awhile ago to do a guest strip for the Guest Strip Project. Since it’s in benefit of the make-a-wish foundation, of course I said yes. Plus, I love doing guest strips. Head over and check it out, and donate some money to it while your at it :D

A Lack Of Color

Saturday, December 13th, 2008

So you probably know that I’ve been feeling sick awhile now, and as a result of that – I did not color the strip this Monday.  However, I’m feeling much better now, so I went back and colored it. The way it should be.

So go check out “That will suffice”, now in color. I know you’ve all ready read it, but wth. Look at the pretty color!

My Little Ninja Ponies!

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008

Me, Skwerl and Danny (mostly Danny and Skwerl, though) talked over twitter about what George Lucas might do next, when Danny jokeishly say something about him making a new franchise called “Ninja Ponies”.

And we all immediately felt that it was awesome. I mean. Come on. Ninja Ponies.

One thing led to another, and I’m proud to present:

:D (Danny made it happen. Blame him.)

I HAVE NO IDEA what we’ll make of all this. Maybe nothing, maybe it’s the next big thing. Maybe it’s the biggest thing ever. Stay updated, and we’ll see.

Updated navigation

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

I changed the navigation buttons to image links below the strip today, as you can probably see. Hoping it’s easier to browse the archive now, and easier to even see how you do it.

I’d love it if you guys tried out the navigation (and the archive too), and comment if anything is working badly. Would make my job easier.

EDIT: And thanks to karchesky at the comipress forum, I used his code which I fetched from this thread.

Updated archive

Monday, November 10th, 2008

Would it kill me to update the blog more often? Hm, it might. But I try to do it anyway. Pinkie swear.

Anyways, I just felt like pointing out that the archive page has been updated, and it’s more easily browsed now, I think. All the strips are listed by number, name and date. It’s actually kind of a large list (for me at least). I’m proud of getting this far. I’m almost at 50 strips.
