Sheer awesomeness
Now, I’m not up to date on the apple front, but it seems like there are issues for concern. It’s probably no big deal though, yet.
Now, you see that guy in the last panel? You’ll never be as cool as him. I’LL never be as cool as him. This is a guy that not only uses a Mac (which deflects viruses), but he’s the type of guy that everybody loves, boy or girls. Top student. Quarterback in the football team. And he’s no “asshole that’s somehow very popular” either, which one might imagine. This is a genuinely nice guy. He reads for the blind on his spare time. He has a glass of water, not coffee or beer, next to him – on a coaster, NOT because someone has told him, but because he chooses to. He’s the kind of guy that will tell you smoking is bad, give you a ride home on his sweet bike, and “shoot you” with his fingers and say “see you around, kid”.
He’s that guy.
Now, why am I telling you this? I have no idea. I just imagined up all this stuff about him while drawing, and wanted to share that. 😛
I was set on making the art in this one the best one yet, you tell me if I did it or not. I think I might be ripping off Krahulik a bit to much, but I can’t help it cause I love textures soooo much! <3

I do NOT love Mister Tumor-Chin in panel 3!

I fucking KNEW you wouldn’t Skwerl! I KNEW IT! And I KNEW you’d post that you didn’t! You’re so predictable! 😀

Saw an article about this “virus” last night. As usual, to get infected on a Mac, you have to do something outrageously stupid, on purpose. It’s not like you can just go to a web page, and BAM! This particular virus is spread through pirated versions of iWork.
Also, the character design in panel three is great!

Thanks Andrew! 🙂
Yeah, I figure it’ll be awhile (and by that I mean never) until mac malware is as common as malware for Windows. Which is good, cause I’ll probably get a Mac someday in my lifetime.

One of your best written and drawn comics yet. Really funny. That mac dialog box kills. I wish the computer really said “Fuck Yeah” when it did something awesome.

Thanks thatguy, that means a lot!
Yeah, when a window pops up notifying me of something bad with only the option “ok”, I wish there’d at least be an option like “well, that fucking sucks but ‘OK’, I GUESS!”. That’d at least make me feel a little bit better by clicking it.

I support this comic.

Oh shoot, I’m being predictable again!
Nice textures, also.

Predictable? You? Never! 😀
And let me be predictable by saying: Thanks!

Security thru obscurity will be hard to maintain as Macs get more popular. Occording to most security experts Macs have high risk but low exporsure, while the opposite is true for Windows. For now Macs are still a better choice if you do not know how to protect yourself from internet nasties.

Lucky me I’m an expert at protecting my stuff! …at least, I think so.
Or… I really hope so.

I’m profoundly scared of viruses now.
I blame Glitchtown for acute paranoia.
