Blah-com

I’ve seen alot of discussions about this, but I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. Say Way-com if you want. But the correct way, if I’m not misstaken, is wah-com: “Wah” is japaneese for harmony, and “Com” is short for computer.

If the pronunciation of Wacom is hard for non-asians, I think the pronunciation of Adobe is a bit hard for none-americans/english speaking people. We assume all e’s at the end of words are silent. I used to say “a-dob” before I heard Terry White pronounce it right. 😛

Ha! Good one, Rasmus! It’s such a funny issue that takes like 10 seconds to verify by, y’know, calling Wacom’s own support number (or watching a tutorial on their site).

But I can mostly deal with people saying “way-come”, it’s when people say “wack ’em” that it bugs me; the company’s not owned by the Sopranos.

Now if I could just start saying “mahn-gah” instead of “main-gah”, I’ll be set.

Haha, “Wack ’em”? I’ve never heard that one before 😀 I have no problems with saying Manga, but saying “Anime” in swedish is a bit tricky. At least I think I’m saying it wrong.

From now on, all of my Wacom products will be called Wack-Em, just for Danny!

I imagine John Allens voice sounds like Joe in family guy 😀

Hah, I imagine his voice more creepy, like… well, it’s really hard to describe when I think about it. But think a mix between Paxton Fettel from FEAR, and how people in infomercials sounded in the 70’s.
