Malware is bad

There are two concerns for me regarding this strip. The first is the fact that it might not be obvious to tell who “Leslie” is, and who “Matt” is. I added a tag to Matt’s shirt in the last panel, but it’s not that easy to see. I just have to hope that you get it anyways. The other concern is that you might not know about neither ErrorSafe, nor WinFixer. But I feel this comic mostly targets the more, ehm, “geeky” fellows, and well… I imagine they’ll recognize the names.

Anyway; ErrorSafe, WinFixer or whatever you want to call it, is basically a hoax anti-virus program, that tricks people into installing and paying for it. I’m sure you’ve seen the pop-ups, and hopefully you haven’t clicked on them.

Art in this one: Meh. Not that bad, but not that good either. Eh. I liked the last one better.

This is kind of an arc, so there’ll be more on the subject of malware. Stay tuned.
